Deceivers among us: Kurt Thompson Rule 7c

And Jesus, answering them, began to say: “Take heed that no one deceives you. (Mark 13:5)

But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:13)

To the General Assembly and the Board of Bishops, there are those among us who are determined to deceive the people of the Church of God in Christ.

When leaders intentionally withhold the truth when asked, misrepresent the truth or spin the truth; these are all integrity failures. We are not naive enough to think that just because we have pointed this out those leaders will have an ah ha moment. I speak to the people of God, when we realize those leaders are operating outside the lines established by GOD we must demand they be replaced. How can a anyone lead you to a place they have never been.

Read this letter where Auxiliary Bishop Kurt Thompson invoked the Board of Bishops Rule 7c and admitted to the charges filed by Chairman Kyles and Elder Fitzgerald; admitted he failed to follow the constitution of the Church of God in Christ. He has failed walk in integrity, and will most likely receive a slap on the wrist with a strongly worded “don’t do that again”. Worse yet, in his letter, he implicated the General Board by showing a letter which suggest he operated under their direction.

Trust has been broken, when trust is broken what is left? You have the blind leading the blind.
