EXECUTIVE BRANCH

The General Board is the Executive Branch of the Church of God in Christ government.  They are tasked with the day to day operation of the Church of God in Christ.  The Presiding Bishop is the both the President and the CEO of the corporation, the other eleven members complete the Board of Directors.  All department heads, Sunday School etc. are appointed by the Presiding Bishop with the approval of the members of the General Board.  These and any other actions of the General Board are subject to the will of the General Assembly.

The budget of the Executive Branch must be submitted to, and approved by the General Assembly.

The Judicial Council of the General Assembly is the trial court for all General Board members.
