On September 2, 2022, the General Council of Pastors and Elders held a hearing and ruled against Bishop Rufus Kyles. This was orchestrated by Chairman Michael Eaddy in which just about every law in the Church of God in Christ concerning the trial of a Pastor was violated. This was a “sanctified” drive by looting, a total disregard for law and procedure.
The part where hypocrisy comes in is Chairman Michael Eaddy has charges filed against him almost a year ago and his hand picked Judicial review chairman has not moved them forward. Perhaps it is due to a conflict of interest because Kiembe Knowlin is also the Presiding Bishops adjutant. This is a conflict of interest that breaches the Judicial and Executive branches.
