LEGISLATIVE BRANCH
The General Assembly is the Legislative Branch of the Church of God in Christ. It is the only law making, doctrine expressing body of the Church of God in Christ. It has the final say on all matters of the Church’s budget and can rescind any decision made by the Executive Branch.
The General Assembly makes the laws and controls the budget of both the General Board and the Judiciary Board.
